Disney On Ice - Worlds of Enchantment, What a Show!

Author: Jose G. Barr

This past week The family went to see Disney on Ice Worlds of Enchantment at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario California.  We had all been looking forward to seeing this year and boy oh boy was the wait worth it.  For the first time, the performance included on of Disney's most love cartoons, "Frozen"! Joseph and his cousin truly enjoyed the magical performances.

What really amazed me is how they have condensed the movies into these short performances.  They capture the essence of the movie and only give up time.  From "Toy Story 3" to the finale in "Frozen" the performance is a magical adventure through each of the movies.

And what would a Disney show be without Mickey and Minnie Mouse? Mickey and Minnie are the MC's for the adventure and provide a wonderful bridge between stories.  The special effects are spectacular throughout the performance and serve to enhance the enjoyment, especially for the kids.

The "Cars" inspired section includes real cars zooming around the arena including Lighting McQueen and Mater. Joseph was really excited to see the cars performance.  The show is a great balance of characters that will appeal to both boys and girls of all ages.
The Frozen section was really well thought out and performed, with magical results. The section opened with the coronation and "For the First Time in Forever" before Ana and Hans perform "Love is an Open Door." The kids really got into this section, with many of the children around us singing along to the songs.

The highlight of Frozen was Elsa's performance of "Let it Go" which had fireworks as well as her ice castle being set up in the center of the ice. Elsa's costume transforms during this song as well just as it did in the movie. This is a must see for any Frozen fans.

The entire show is great and well worth the going to see. I would recommend the show for kids of any age. This was a great outing for the family and we can't wait to see what the Disney Imagineers come up with for next year's performance.

Until next time my friends, love your kids,

Cherish your family.
